What it actually does

The bits you notice

  • Nothing added to mask the smell. Pine's natural oils help minimise odour as moisture is absorbed. No added fragrance, because there's nothing to cover up.
  • Highly absorbent. The compressed pine pellets absorb moisture and crumble to sawdust as they become wet, making the soiled material easy to identify and sift out.
  • Milled timber, nothing else. Made from 100% untreated Queensland pine that is mechanically dried, compressed and dust extracted.
  • Pellets, not granules. Each pellet is 6mm across — large enough to help reduce tracking through the house.
  • One ingredient. 100% untreated Queensland pine. No synthetic binders, no colourants and no added fragrance.
  • Made for a sifting tray. Wet pellets crumble to sawdust and drop through, while clean pellets stay on top. With a two-tray system, you can separate the used litter from the clean pellets easily.
Switching over

Cats hate change. Here's the trick.

Don't swap it all at once — that's how you end up with a cat weeing on the bathmat out of spite. Mix a quarter pine into their old litter, then half, then most, over about a week. By day seven they'll have forgotten there was ever anything else.
