Twenty years of Australian pet products

Purrfect Pet Products has been Australian owned and operated since 2006. We started in pet accessories — scratching posts, the stuff cats destroy for fun — and spent two decades supplying independents and national retail across the country.

Somewhere along the way we got very interested in the least glamorous product in the store. Litter is the thing every cat owner buys every few weeks, forever, and most of it is mined clay in a heavy bag that makes a mess. That felt like a solvable problem.

So now we make pine litter. Australian timber, made in Queensland, supplied to retail nationally under our own brand and as private label — if you've bought Freshco pine litter at Petbarn, you've bought ours. We're a manufacturer first and a brand second — which is a strange thing for a pet company to say out loud, and the reason our retailers stay.
